We purchased four DI filters for our system. They worked great for about two weeks and then they started leaking. I noticed these very fine cracks length wise on the filter. We tried duct tape to stop it, but when we ran a test, the duct tape got blown off and the interior of the cabinet was completely soaked in solvent. What a mess, although it did leave the floor clean. Any one else have problems the DI filters? Can anyone recommend a reliable source?
Most DI Columns are created for the organic laboratory setting, where distilled water is used. These machines use 75 IPA which is not compatible with many plastics. The material required by the 75IPA DI Columns is more expense, so expect to pay more. We have found Scientific Solutions to have the highest quality 75I DI Columns at the best prices.
