I have an omegameter 600.  It is old.  How hold is it?  Its so old that the dead sea was only sick when this system was made.  Seriously, its an older system and it has expired columns in it.  Seems to be a label on only one column and I think it says alpha metals RI9210.  Its quite faded and torn, so I could be wrong on the part number.

The label probably says RI9121000, that is you are missing the last two zeros. What are you trying to do?

I want to see if this system works so I need to get some new columns, but don’t know what to order or what else I might need

You need the Scientific Solutions part number 0301168. You will need four of these as you must replace all four columns at the same time. You should also get some of the #3 standardizing solution (0301186) and also a syringe (0301199). You will use the #3 and the syringe so you can perform a chemical test of the system.

Thank you. Also looks like there is some type of printer. No paper or ribbon. Do I need this in order to run the machine?

Don’t necessarily need the paper and ribbon to see the machine work, but you will need them in order to actually use the machine as the machine will print out the results of your calibration and testing and if you don’t have a printer you may not see the results as they appear on the display, but disappear very quickly. So also get the paper, part number 0301179, and the ribbon, which can be either part number 0301178 or 0301175 – you will have to look at Scientific Solutions site to see which one you need.
