      We have an OM600 SMD, but the printer no longer works. It’s not a ink problem. Some times it works and sometimes it prints random characters.
      Has any one seen any thing like this?

        Maybe it’s a lose wire. You have to unscrew the console face plate to get to the wires.  I don’t think there is any high voltage on the console panel.

          You’re not the only one, we had our printer malfunction. The technical guy here worked on it for three days, but could not fix it. We contacted Scientific Solutions and upgraded our system to use a new printer. The new printer does not use any ink, no spools, no cartridge, so it saves on maintenance and storing ink spools. The text is a lot easier to read than the old dot matrix printer.

            Thanks everyone. We don’t have a technical person here, so we’ll contact Scientific Solutions for the fix.
